Please tell me which language was used to create msn and yahoo messangers?

Anyway I am sure that Msn and Yahoo messengers are not made using Java. Language behind Yahoo should be C or C++ as Yahoo messenger is available for other platforms too. MSN may be build using .Net since MSN is created by Microsoft.
