How to Earn star in Mylot?

MyLot will not give you a star rating until you have posted at least 100 posts. After that they plug in all the information from all the ratings you received from other mylot members (good or bad) and then you will get a star with a number in it. In order to receive a high scoring star, remember to post quality, well thought out replies and create meaningful discussions. Good luck here at MyLot!

firstly you will need to get your rating to more than 100 you are currently at 11 so you have a bit to go, other things which are taken into consideration is getting + ratings instead of - ratings. Always make sure that you responses are informative and you give alot of good information, never copy and paste because people will report the abuse and your star rating will not increase. To have start in your account, you have to reach minimal 100 posts. It show by the number, more higher the number is more better.

Hi not to worry we were all new when we first started, yes we do receive a star and rating and so will you once you reach enough points as at this stage you do not have enough but keep going and I do beieve that once you reach 100 then you will receive this as well.

What does the numbers on the stars mean? Are higher numbers better or lower numbers better? Also, does having a star helps you earn more money for each post you make?

Hi! i know you posted this question four years ago but like you I also had the same question now. Good thing there are many responses here which gave me an idea what the star is all about. I am a myLot Newbie. I am so new here and I'm actually getting the hang of it. I still have many questions and I am getting answers now. I just want to thank you for the information I was able to gather because of the query you posted here. I don't know if you are still an active myLotter but still I want to give you my thanks, because this post has definitely help me save time dwelt on researching for answers.

you will automatically get it once your rating crosses 500.

this are i understood from mylot guidelines. users with a user rating of less than 100 will not yet have myLot reputation myLot reputation is determined by the myLot community,not user It doesn’t mean that 8 stars means “good user” and 5 stars means “bad user” only indicate how active user are increase your reputation is by contributing quality topics, responses and comments and avoid breaking mylot rules!

You need to post more. Once you have more posts they will give you stars depending on quality of the discussions you have started.

I think you have to make 100 posts before you get one given to you then it depends on how good your replies and discussions are
