I have to remind myself, each day, to take my medicine. Do you? How?

Being a baby boomer, and never taking any medication daily until I was around 50 years old, I had to adapt myself to remembering to take my medicine every day. The first time I realized I needed help, I asked my friend to help me think of a way to remember. Then we were shopping at the grocery store together. I picked up my Carnation Instant Breakfast, and she said "do you drink that every day for breakfast?" I said yes. She told me to place a label on the top of the can that said "take meds", and that way I would remember.
That worked great until I got tired of drinking instant breakfast and wanted to try something else for a change.
Needless to say, the first day I ate cereal instead, I forgot my medicine.
So...I thought, and thunk, and thought some more, and presto, use the calendar with the popup reminder to remember my meds.
I have continuously used that ever since, and it always reminds every morning.
Now the only time I forget, it if I've had my computer off all night and wake up to late the next day.

I use a one of those pill boxes. You can buy them to hold varying days worth of pills. Mine holds two weeks worth. So I know if I missed my pills. My husband uses the same method too. It works great for us. Give it a try. They are very inexpensive and you can keep them in a place where you wont forget like next to your toothbrush or something.
