Criterion to choose a good soap.

Soaps usually have their contents written on their packets. You should look for the Total fatty matter (TFM)content in the soap. It is usually written as a % ( TFM %). The higher the TFM% , the better the soap. ( If anyone has info about such criteria which will help us choose consumer goods, do share it.)

Manufacturer of commercial soap usually dont put the so called TFM. We should choose fat heavy soap especially for sensitive skin. The content of soap is listed as percentage the first on list the bigger the percentage and so on and so on. For me i chose the soap base on the ingredient of the soap then the scent then the price.

On the subject of soap, the best advice I can give is what I learned from modelling. Perfumed and pretty smelling soaps, as nice as they are aroma wise, are the WORST for your skin. The perfume in the soap dries out your skin instead of enriching it. The same for bubble baths, lotions and body washes. If you must have a scent, then stick with a body spray afterwards, but avoid scented bath products, since they're actually counter productive to the moisturizing most are looking for.
