One of my funniest moments involving a 3000 piece jigsaw puzzle.

I had been working on a 3000 piece jigsaw puzzle (in the days well before the PC came along), and it had taken me a couple of months, at least, in my spare time. I had it layed out on my living room couch (a real big couch), and was getting close to finishing it.
My daughter came home from school and asked me if she could invite a friend to spend the weekend. I told her sure.
"Mom, if you don't mind, would you please move your puzzle, so we can have room to sit on the couch?"
It was laying on a very large piece of cardboard and so I picked it up and set it down on the floor between the end of the couch and the patio door. There was only a small place I could manuever, and I had to turn around and step over the puzzle to get back to the couch.
As I attempted to twist around, I stumbled on my own feet, accidently kicking the jigsaw puzzle, and landed face down on the couch. Pieces of the jigsaw puzzle flew everywhere.
I thought my daughter would never stop laughing and I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I laughed!

Poor you! I remembered doing my own share of jigsaw puzzle which involved 1000 pieces and it took me one month plus to complete it. It must be an unforgettable memory for you to laugh at. Then, what did you do after the puzzle was broken? Did you start all over again?

I started over. I had about 2 to 3 months invested in that puzzle and I was getting tired of it anyway. I started another one.
