There are a number of things that I've learned from my parents---from my father: 1.)to value one's work 2.)to be very hardworking and 3.)to be generous
From my mother, on the other hand, is where I learned to 1.) to place my family on top of my priorities 2.) to be sensitive to the needs of the people around me 3.)to be patient, considerate & understanding.
Above all, she taught me how to cook...and that's what I am grateful of because I get to use that skill now that I am married.
How about you, what are things that your parents have taught you? Would you mind sharing it with me?

my parents taught me to value education, be hardworking, save for my future, enjoy my life, respect other people, show gratitude to people who have helped me in my life, learn to do household chores, be kind to others even if they are not kind to me, and to have God as an important part of my life.
