Is Divorce good or bad?

I was in this same situation myself. I got divorced, and I view it as a VERY GOOD thing. It's not good for anyone to live in a dysfunctional relationship like that. It's very harmful to the children too.

I think it's a very bad idea. I am in a point in my life where divorce seems like the best option for me. My husband has become completely nasty in moody in the last couple of months. I figured it was midlife crisis. He is refusing to seek counseling or to visit a doctor. I can't stand the way he screams at me or the kids. We aren't doing anything wrong. My kids are very unhappy. I think you only live life once and it should be a happy one.

I think divorce for the right reasons such as a physically abusive partner is never something I’d object, although I wouldn’t object on any other basis either. I’d just hope a couple could use as a last resort rather than a running for the hills at the first sign of danger.

I would say getting divorse just for the heck for it is bad. It leads to depression and other stupid stuff you don't to get in. But if your getting abused, go for it.

If the marital relations have worsened. Then I will say Divorce is good. It is better to seek divorce than lead an unnecessary tensionful life.
