The most powerful could be peter simply because he can take any of the powers that he wanted. The girl who would manipulate the minds was a good one but as we all see, silar killed her and now he has that power. So actually scalar is the most powerful right now. I think claire could be, but she cant be hurt, but if silar takes her brain, so im excited to see the new episode, because i have a feeling, this is going to be a good year.

I agree with most that Hiro has the most power. Peter's ability is neat because he isn't stuck with one power, however like many others have stated, he has to be in the presence of the other person to gain that ability. The cheerleader has the 2nd most powerful ability in my opinion, which is why she is so important. Save the cheerleader, save the world..it means that if Sylar gains her ability, he will be completely indestructible. I can't wait to see what unfolds next!!

The only drawback with Peter is that he actually has to be in the presence of others with abilities before he can use them. I would go with Hiro...how many times in your life have you wanted to go back and either re-live or change something you did.

Peter is like the character rogue in x-men. I also like hiro, but as of now he can't fully control his powers. Sylar also has an interesting power. I don't know how he can absorb the abilities of the people he kills.

i agree with u peter does have the best ability. i m kinda scared that he might also mimic not just the ability but their weakness as well..is that possible?

For me its a toss up between Peter and Hiro, Peter is like Rogue of X-Men, being able to mimic the powers near you is pretty powerful, although alone, he is just an ordinary guy. Hiro's ability to time travel combined with his funny behavior makes him a likable character. The cop who could hear thoughts, seems to have a cool power as well.

This actually depends on what situation the hero is facing. At first I think Hiro's power is awesome, I mean he can travel back in time and also different places as well. If he can fully control his power, that's the end of the story. I mean who else can fight a guy like this?
However, in order to make the story more interesting, I think the script writer has added some sort of criteria behind it. Let's say for example, one episode hiro travel back in time to save the girl who works in the coffee shop but failed. So, right now I think Sylar who has the ability to absorb other abilities is the most useful.

peter can only mimic the other heroes' powers when he's near them so i think he's not that powerful if he's alone. i think hiro's power of being able to teleport and manipulate the space-time continuum is the most useful. if all else fails in the present time, he could go back in time to change the past and save the future ;)

I would have to go with Hiro. Although Peter is strong and can mimic peoples powers, he has to be close to them and he also has to figure out how to use them while he's fighting. I think he's at a disadvantage because everyone else has started to master their powers while he has only a short amout of time to figure them out or die. Meanwhile Hiro can stop time if someone is attacking him and can travel backward and forwards in time. Hiro is awesome!~ and he gets a sword ^-^
