what to do with a disabled kid

I have a 5 yr old daughter who is disabled. I have a lot of people tell me that I need to just forget about her and place her in some insalum and forget about her. I love my little girl to peices and would do anyting for her. Am I wrong for wanting to give her as close to a normal life as possiable?

No, you're a good mother, a mother can has many child but for a child there can be only one mother. Children is a god gift, may you find the strenght, i really respect you.

No not by any means. I have a disability and if my parents had done this to me I would never have lead the life I have today with great husband and four great kids. But I suppose it depends on the disability. What are they? Are they very bad?
