i work for almost 7 years in different companies. in my experiences there are many problems i encountered which i know is very natural. but one thing that really make me think and sometimes bother me is the issue on favoritism. i really wonder a lot why favoritism happens in companies. there is this company im working now for almost three years which i know for myself that i really did my best but unfortunately my superior didnt noticed it while my other coworker who is always late and sometimes absent but she is the favorite of my boss still make it. my other coworkers also noticed it and complain but nothing happens. im really wondering why some boss have favorites which for me is not an act of professionalism. eventhough i dont want to get affected with the issue on favoritism im still wondering and thinking why it needs to happen? can it be prevented and how to cope up with boss who has a favorite?

this is the worst part any company facing today ,the favouritism is a black spot everywhere ,you are not supposed to be known by your talent but with your influence ,you should have good relations with your boss to stay at your job ,not the work you do at the job.these things are common everywhere, but hard work always pays .keep this slogan in mind and you will never be behind in the life ,god is with you to support you .

I will admit that i have incontered the same problem in my place of work. i have worked with the company for 6 years and i am a supervisor on the evening (3-11) shift. i have noticed that nomatter what problem arises or whatever goes wrong it always seems to be blamed on my shift. also my girls work there butts off to do extra cleaning and theres never so much as a thank you. but if someone on the day shift does anything extra they brag for days about how hard it was or how long it took them. this problem has brought me to the verge of quiting many times but i hate to be a quitter and have a black mark on my resume. I really don't think that there is much that can be done without having to have repercussions to deal with.
