Since the new rating system began, I've noticed fewer nasty debates about God.

I am a Christian and while I believe that expressing your views about God is a good thing, beating a non-believer over the head with a 30 pound Bible is not. After all, fellow Christians, how many of you became Christians after having beat into you facts about God's existence? It looks to me that with the new rating system, people are realizing they can express their differences without slamming each other.

I still read some topics about God, yes, everybody should respect each others' belief. There are things to be discussed, to be debated and things to die for. And I think topics here are just to be dicussed and not to be debated, especially pointing out a view regarding one's belief. I am a Christian and I will gladly share how Jesus saved me and love me and through the Bible still learning and growing.

There are a lot less nasty debates *period*, which is a great thing. There were so many discussions where everyone was just screaming their opinion in everyone else's face, and now that's calmed down quite a bit. Mylot really does seem to be on the ball with keeping things civil and relevant around here.
