Being lonely is very distrassing. Are you a student or working? You will find a boyfriend you have time. Dont worry about that. Its always better to have some one who you truly love and not someone for sake of having a boyfriend. Why dont you invite someone who's close to you to be your room-mate? Is it difficult to build up friendships? Mostly friends is a better way to end loneliness than boyfriends. With a boyfriend you are commited. But with friends you can have your freedom plus you can entertain them as and when you wish. This is what I feel.

Not having a boyfriend is not the same thing as being lonely..being lonely is a deeper almost to the point of depression feeling. Wanting a man in your life is something else. You are still very young...you have plenty of time to find the right man for you...please don't throw yourself away to men just for the company...it wil not change how you feel...only point it out more...Pluc yo are worth much more than that!!

Definitely try to surround yourself with your friends. If you don't have too many close ones, try to meet new people. Do you have any hobbies?

If you have any friends, bring them a little closer, I can tell you that it's a lot better to have a close friend than a boy or girl friend...at least with friends you can have as many as you like, without having to hate any of them because you accidently went too far

I am married, but I can relate to being lonely. My husband is overseas on his second tour and we have spent more than half of our marriage apart. In a way its almost worse than being single because I still have all the responsibilities of marriage and motherhood and just plain life, but before I was married I was in the same boat from the age sixteen till 21, I found him when I stopped looking for love and started concentrating on other things. It was the wierdest thing. I believe there is a prince for every lady and he will come and sweep you off your feet when you are least expecting it. Dont let being lonley depress you, make the most of it and live every day of your life like its the last one you have, Have fun, be happy and love it!!!
