The world of sports always throws up intense competition , but there are a few that stand apart in every sport. like Australia-NewZealand In Rugby, Ashes & INDO-PAk in cricket; Yankees-RedSox & Giants-Dodgers in Baseball; LA Lakers -Sacremento kings in basketball. There are quite a few in soccer like the milan derby, manu-liverpool, real-barca, celtic- rangers, england-argentina or East bengal-mohunbagan. Maybe among individual sports, agassi-sampras in tennis; Ali-Frazier in boxing.... the list goes on.

well according to me the greatest sporting rivalry has to be india and pakistan in cricket .when they play against each other it no longer simply remains a game , it is always something more than that . both the nation's pride are at stake .and as record suggests some of the most fiercely competitive matches has been played between them .
