OMG seaon 6 is bad?

Dear god! WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED!!!! I just watched the first 4.25 episodes of Season 6 and they suck, Jack has been defanged, the new president is WORSE THAN LOGAN! even the villians and their "threat" it LAME!!!! save on cool moment at the end of episode 4 this season is just one lame AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL lecture
I really hope those episodes I saw where a joke and that when I watch it on the 14th it will be the 24 I've been loving for the past 5 years

Im surprised that you feel this is a bad series. I have watched the first 4 like yourself and i thought they were excellent. Im just really annoyed i cant now watch the next 20!! 24 constantly has to try and battle against getting dated or overdone. If you really think about it, Jack Bauer has had a pretty bad life so far. But i think the each series is brilliant because they are different from the next. With series 6 i like the fact that the nuke goes off and curtis gets taken out. It shows that he cant always save the day and that he is human after all. Maybe i could be the next Jacky B?!!

I wouldn't say Jack has been defanged. But, come on ... how believable would it be if he came out of a Chinese prison where he was tortured and probably starved and jumped right back in like the old Jack?

The president in Season 6 is so physically fit that you know this has to be Hollywood! The last time we saw such a fit U.S. president was when Harrison Ford had to defend Air Force One... and even he doesn't come close to this season's 24 prez.
Keep watching and realize that this is great entertainment; whether or not it can parallel real life is a crapshoot (to me, highly unlikely, but who knows?).

I was afraid to download and watch the episodes that were up on the internet. I thought they might be fake or have a virus. I mean how could so many episodes be out there already when it isn't to start until next week?
I can't wait to watch it Sunday night! Well, actually, more like Monday since I will have to download it.

I watched the first episode of the new season last night. I was a bit surprised that Wayne is now President. It is still action packed. Jack has not been defanged. He can still do what needs to be done. We're looking forward to next weeks episode.

yeah a bit pity on the president. but for me its still awesome.. it just had started, we just have to wait for the rest of the episodes :)
jack is so unbelievable.. imagine he had just came from china after 2 years then to fayed.. yet, he can still kick pretty well...he can still run fast and everything. unbelievable. that is so untrue.
but i can see the plot of the story tough. looking forward to it.

This is my favorite series, and so far I have to disagree about the new season. I am loving it so far...more so than previous seasons (except for the first one). I was thrilled to see who the new president is, and couldn't STAND Logan! Jack has had his spirit stripped from him, true, but look at all he has been through. Give it a chance....

I was kinda disappointed in the loss of some of Jack's edge as well, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that the episodes sucked. I think it seems to follow a logical progression of events. I just hope that it leads to some interesting story to come as Jack re-finds himself.
24 has never let down before, and I have no reason yet to believe that they will now.

The new season doesn't start here till Sunday. I can't wait for it to begin. I really love this show. It keeps you on the edge of your seat.

From what I hear the 6th season is good so far. I didn't read you entire post ( Just the beginning and the end)for the fact that I don't want to know what is going on yet (since I haven't seen it). Some of my friends that have seen it already said it said they is is really good. I hope they are not lying to me.

How are you guys seeing these episodes when the season premiere isn't until this coming Sunday? I can't wait for the new season, 24 is, without a doubt, one of the best shows on TV.

i do watch 24 i just have know idea what is in what episode but i do think that the more you watch this the more you get into it they are all great episodes but i would have more of an idea if i was to know what this episode is about. and wich do you prefer to watch i did like to watch the one with the power station colapse.
