If You Had A Choice To Make...?

Would you go back to school or would you start a new career? These are the only two options, so please do not mention anything else. If you had to make a very important choice, what would it be and why? Personally, I am a student for life...any opportunity given to learn more and acquire more, I am up for it. So it would be to go back to school.
Please consider the consequences and think about what you can gain and lose from your decision. Starting a new career will bring more money, but is it really what you want? Going back to school will open the door for new opportunities, but do you have the time? So...

That is your decision...go for it. Personally, I get bored to easily, so I find that when I learn new things...I can make myself flexible. Thanks for sharing...

well think about it a little bit. If you start a new career it must be something you are very good at, but to start a better career you should have some education in that area. So what i recommend is you go to school and learn. you could have a part time job to keep you up financialy cause you do need money for school.
Stay in school kids :)!!!

Thanks...but know that sometimes we have to do the things we do not like to do in order to do the things we want to do.

I would rather start a new career since I don't have the money to go back to school and I prefer to earn money in order to help my siblings and my family. Even if I have the 8-5 hour job, I still look for other income opportunities that will help me save my own money in order for me to have my own dream business.

It depends on what you consider starting a new career. If you are talking about going to a job for 8 hours a day, then nooooo, it's not for me. Right now I'm a full-time grad student without a "job" but I do different things at home to have income.
If it's just another job making someone else rich, I'll take school. If I'm starting a business to make myself rich, I'll take that as a new career.

Good way of looking at things. We have to access the possibilities before we make final decisions. Thanks...

I think I would go back to school. You are right learning is important and we should try to be students for life. If I were to go back to school now I would choose to study taxation because it is an area that has always fascinated me - strange I know.
This is a hard decision though because I would want to start a new career in web design if given the opportunity. I must say that working on the job has has been a great source of knowledge for me, I learnt things I never learnt in school. However, since you asked for a choice, my decision would be to go back to school and study taxation.

Nice choice. But you are right, there are things that a job can teach us that we could never learn in school. Thanks for responding...

That is one tough question! If you ask me I would take up both, I would like to work as well as study to enhance my knowledge. There is no end to learning and no age to start or end what you learn. So moving forward it woulb be a career first and then study at the same time. Very tough but that's how I would prefer it.

I'd love to go back to school if I had the money to keep going, well, of course I'd still choose school. I like learning myself so I'm a life-long learner. I'm in school still and plan to take up classes on degrees I feel interested in. don't mind taking them. a new career can do wonders to you financially, but you probably wouldn't be happy at all. so I'd pick education over money. I have no kids so I have the time go to school and take classes for whatever reason.

THats the biggie question if you do have the time.. what if at the end of the course you are taking , you relize this isn't for you? then that's a waste right? so do the thing tht would make you contented nd happy the rest of your life. either way will do
