I know what your talking about. My little sister is 5-1/2 and she is 80 pds. but is a little tall for her age and she is the biggest in her K-class and they call her names and make fun of her she comes home crying and in a bad mood and a few times she has came home and said the kids hit her with hans and kicked her and one even hit her with a stick which left a small gash in her head and the teachers and pricipals did nothing when my mom called them just said they keep a closer eye out on the kids but stuff still continued to happen lucky my mom moved and she is now going to a different school. So far this one is going okay.

I am so sorry to hear that. The reason that I wrote it is because my daughter calls me from school today crying and saying her tummy hurt. Well I could tell that something else was bothering her. She told me that some boys on the bus were making fun of her. Saying that she smells and that her hair is yellow and that she is fat. She took a shower right before school so she did not smell, She has blonde hair, and she is a little chunky but not much at all. I had her talk to her counciler and the she was able to get the boys in the office and talked to them. I am so glad that she did. I hate to see my daughter cry for something so hurtful. They just do not think before they say mean things.

I think it has always been a case of kids will be kids but I do think they are getting worse, I think today it is a case of being cool to their friends and unfortunately some other kids have to wear the brunt of it.

Yes that is our a big part of it. I just wish that families should talk about this problem more and just keep on telling your kids that it is not right and that they would not want someone to say those things to you

Parents are trying their best to teach their kids what for them is right or wrong. But sometimes it is from the parents if they're giving their kids proper teaching... or sometimes kids may be influenced by peers or televisions which needs parental guidance

It just seems that we are not doing enough. Just like when parents let thier child stay out all hours of the night. It just concerns me.
