Friends How to prevent Dengue Fever? Which is spreading fastly in Delhi and surrounding region.

There is no vaccine to protect you since it is a viral disease (spread by mosquitoes). Reduce the risk by staying in air conditioned or screened areas as much as possible. When outdoors, wear clothing that covers as much skin as possible (long sleeves, long pants). Avoid areas of stagnant water. Apply insect repellent (one that contains DEET) not only to your skin but also to your clothing. Please note, you can now buy clothing designed to repel insects but I'm sure it would be quite pricey. (I'm an R.N.)

u need to keep ur surroundings clean and avoid stagnation of water at places near ur house as theyll allow mosquitoes to breed and mosquitoes are the main culprit causing dengue fever..use some mosquito repellant if thr are lots of mosquitoes arnd ur place..

clean our soroundings, as much as possible cover any water container and change water in any flower pots every 4 o'clock in the afternoon. greetings. : )

prevent stagnation of water...use of insectisides in stangnant water...this will prevent mosquitos from breeding
