Do you think the death penalty is necessary?

I have two opinions on this topic. I feel at times that it is necessary for certain people to get the death penalty. For example someone like a cerial killer, I feel like they deserve it.
My other opinion is that two wrongs dont make a right. Here we are telling someone they cant kill yet we get the right to kill him. So both of my opinions are contradicting I know, However I do tend to find myself favoring the death penalty.
What is your take on this? maybe you have a better idea, a better punishment for the criminal. You tell me.

No I don't, too many mistakes have been made in the pst, innocent people have been charged and executed, the law plays games. There should be Life inprisonment and I mean life, with hard labour and no privledges at all...they should work for their keep within the gaols.

t always depends on the crime, for who is against, just a question: if the crime happen to your family??
