Which would you choose, Happiness or Peacefulness?

I come to a turning point in my life where I have to choose between being happy with the one I love (but everybody else around you is mad at the both of you because they thought your relationship was a sin) and being at peace even without love, (which seems everybody is not bugging you anymore about having to break up with someone you love).. with this, I choose Peacefulness. Call it stupid, but I rather be peaceful without love than to be happy inlove but everybody else is unhappy for you. If you are in this kind of situation, where would you rather be?

I'd choose to be happy because we are entitled to our own happiness, don't we? If others are against your rel, but you're both happy and contented with each other. Happiness cannot be bought nor dictated by others 'coz it's us, who finds happiness and eventually you'll find peace with each other, and for those people surrounding us who used to be against our will, eventually will accept things as it is...it is our life.. our happiness :)

I agree with you when you say Happiness cannot be bought or dictated, but how can you stand being happy if your happiness affects other people. Don't you think its selfish in my part if I choose the other way?

It is a huge decision to make, I think I would have gone the other way but it is a decision only you could make, I hope you will be happy with that decision...best of luck to you....:)

Well I am a rebel and selfish. I would have chosen happiness, because I can make myself peaceful if I am happy. The others come around once they realize they made the mistake. If these people really cared about you they would have supported your choice in love regardless if it was a bad choice. You can't let others rule your life, now they are happy and you are at peace with them. But you not happy! Do they do anything to try to make you happy? They won and you lost and they are happy for themselves not you. Did you control their decisions in LOVE. It is no ones's business who you decide to LOVE.

ill choose happiness. thats the reason for love and the reason why we love. we cannot be totally peaceful when we aren't happy and keep thinking bout the other one, right? other people are out of it, it is all about you, your partner, and what you feel inside your beating heaRT. they will eventually accept your partner in due time providing that your partner will prove his/her worth to u.

My friends keep telling me that too. See, the problem with me is, I'm the person who is so concern of what other people might think or feel with the situation rather than what I should think and feel. I hope I can be like you. Thanks for inspiring me.
