Stop Making Up Stories in Mylot!

when i respond to discussions or topics i see here..first i look for topics i think i can contribute,second,read the discussion and think if i should respond when the poster is just telling a lie or just making topics so he could earn.. I do spend time answering discussions here..and when friends o my list post nice topics i make sure i respond and join in..when u contribute and join in the discussions of posters who lie we just help them lie more in other topics..

I won't mention names, but I have seen some things too. Probably just like you said, wanting to earn money.

I've seen some completely ridiculous posts, too. And they just make me roll my eyes. Is it that hard to come up with something to post? Do people really have to resort to making things up or stealing experiences from other people? That's pretty much the definition of lame, if you ask me.

I also hate that But I choose not to reply that kind o discusion. I prefer answer simple discusion. My English aren;t good. taht's make me dizzy if I must answer that kind of topic. lol so I run away from it

I agree cuddleme01, we need mylotians who have integrity, you should not engage in made up stories and you think we are not intelligent enough to seperate trush from the real stuff? Lets be real here, we shall make it a good place to share credible ideas.

I agree with you, some thing are very far fetched. I just take a lot of things with a big grain of salt. BTW - I love your kitty pic.

Oh my 25 have a 16year old. Well yanno there are not alot honest people out there and if it involved money which you know make the world go around, some people just don't care as long as they can make money or get money. I haven't been on mylot very long but I have seen some really interest topics with 1 or 2 words for the body of the topic...

I think sensationalism is an unfortunate consequence of the myLot rewards system. People often write scandalous things knowing that it will evoke a greater response. I see it on here all the time. People also use stereotypes to get under other people's skin and provoke responses. I don't agree wih it and wish people wouldn't do it, but it's just a fact of life her on myLot. The only thing we can do is try to discourage habitual offenders by calling them out and not responding to their discussions.

yes i agree i have seen many stories which they tell us to elive but they dnt seems to be real. i think people are getting real creative in the ir minds to make money, and this is somethings which should be stopped. strange ones and even some write stories related to their family members and i think this is not a good thing to do. you make money but thwy write false things about your family members

Maybe it can happen if she has 25 year old daughter but I dont bother if theres a lot here just want to tell story, not their own, I dont bother on that if that what makes them happy then it's up to them.

I was also very shocked when I came across such false stories. It is sick. I was once going to stop visiting mylot but did not do so ,Thanks to some good discussions. Money is not that much important that you should be lying to get it.

ppl are stupid and just want to make money off a discussion they think will attract attention :)

i dont know what they try to do by telling story because mylot doesnt pay you for your own discussion if i am not wrong so what are they trying to do by adding just text to mylot database......i guess they just end up in wasting their time around

i am new here and i have seen so many topics with no meanings. i hope some members understands that. lets make this place a wonderful experience.
