If u are talking about england country team, i think Rio Ferdinand is the best player. He is a defender so he does'nt score too many goals but if u see him playing, he is the wall. In EPL, Christiano Ronaldo is the best player. He has unmatched talent. Manchester United Rocks !!!

At the moment its ronaldo. He is scoring goals for fun and have won best player of the month second time in a row. He seems unstoppable now and the way he is playing, he may thwart chelsea's hope of winning the epl third time.

I'm not sure whether you're confining responses to English players, or players in England, but I will go out on a limb and say that Henry is the best at the moment. He stands out from all the rest... a brilliant player. However, my vote for all time best player in England would go to George Best, who sadly, isn't with us any more. He had the greatest natural talent anybody could have.
