Have any of you watched "The Inconvenient Truth"? If so, what did you think? What do you do to reduce your impact on the earth?

I finally watched this movie. It was inspirational! I actually cried during the credits. Personally I already recycle/reuse whatever/wherever possible. I have changed my lights to CFL. I save errands that require a vehicle and group them together to save on the number of times I use the car. I walk as much as I can. I have contacted my local/provincial and federal politicians to let them know that I am concerned and to find out what their stand on this matter. I encouraged people to watch this movie even before I had watched it just because I knew it would have an impact. I find it somewhat sad that when I did a search of mylot to see what discussions had already been started using "inconvenient truth" to search this was the only discussion that was shown and it had no responses. I'll have to search for other similar topics to see what people are doing.

I watched it. It was very enlightening. What is interesting, is that I had a misconception about the ozone layer. How many people actually think that there is a hole in it, and that that is our big problem? I know most of my friends believe that. I have been recommending this movie to everyone I know. But I too am surprised to see the lack of interest in this. I found little about recycling as well. And I don't know what interest category I can find environment in. Maybe environment should be a category on it's own? I would like to see that.

I can do limited help in this regard. I talk to my friends and known people about this issue if possible. I try to spread the awareness about Global warming hazards. I also suggest the people who smoke, to quit smoking. But you know, these will not be effective, if people do not start to take them seriously. We can do very limited things about it.
