I personally haven't, but it seems im catching some flak from certain people due to my flashy avatar. So, what do you guys think? Should I get rid of it? Is it really that offensive that I should change it to something less....flashy? CAST YOUR VOTES!

No, I have never hated or disliked someone because of their avatar. I love the fact how everyone has something different. It can really tell a lot about a person and what is important to them.

I don't hate you at all Brentsky LOL But I have to try really hard not to look at your avatar... I am one of those people who can't watch videogames onscreen when my kids or husband are playing and I can't play games at an arcade because any of these things make me physically ill. Unfortunately, your avatar has a similar effect so, if I want to respond to your posts, I sort of have to block it out.
Just since you asked, of course ;)

No, that would be too shallow. You don't hate a person because of their avatar. And hate would be too strong, maybe annoyed is more appropriate.

I have seen a few avatars that I do not particularly like, but that has not made me form an opinion about the user of the avatar.
We all have different tastes, so it is inevitable that some people will like your avatar and others will not. I have used 6 different avatars so far and will probably change again soon. many people amy dislike some of mine, but the only important criterion to me is that I like it.
Basically, it is YOUR avatar so you are the only person whose opinion is worthwhile. If others do not like it then simply ignore them. After all, if you change it then do you really expect that every member will like your replacement?
