How true Julie. Lance Gokongwei's Cebu Pacific is a fun airline to fly. Even though they use old airplanes they maintain them well. Their service is excellent compared to Lucio Tan's Philippine Airlines. PAL used to be so horrible in the domestic flights, expensive and arrogant but I hear they have improved now. Nothing like a bit of competition.

Deccan Airways has the cheapest airfares. But they are also the worst airline (probably Indian Airlines is worse). You can get good online deals with Jet Airways or Kingfisher from time to time and they are both excellent airlines. I have had about 40 Jet Airways sectors, 8 Kingfisher 3 Deccan and several Indian Airlines. Jet and Kingfisher are really tops, and the fares I paid were not significantly higher than the Deccan Airways fares. But I for one would never fly Deccan again. :)
