Seinfeld: weird to watch after what Michael Richards said a few weeks ago?

I'm getting back into watching Seinfeld since I came home from college, and I found at first that it was a little weird watching the show after the outburst Michael Richards (Kramer) had. I'm not saying that I'm especially mad at him (I try not to pass judgments) but it was still weird for me. Similar reactions?

It isn't weird for me at all. Michael Richards just plays the character. You can't be mad at Kramer for what happened. lol I think what he did was very wrong and he needs help. I will still watch the reruns though.

Yeah, I mean...it's not a huge deal and I got over it pretty quickly. I guess it's just strange in general to see sitcom stars outside of the context of the show. Lucille Ball was the same way.

If you enjoy watching a show, watch it for the show, not for the actor. What this actor said in present time should not reflect on his past work.

I find it weird too,he's character and him were totally different person.I mean i know they were just playing the role but its just odd to see him like that.

I agree that Kramer is still Kramer, but I also feel bad for Michael Richards in a way. His career came to a hault as a result of Seinfeld. He hasn't been able to do anything sucessful since the show, and has been forever typcasted as the goofy neighbor. Obviously he had no right to say the things he did at that show, but I still feel bad for him none the less.

Same here. I look at the cast differently as I have an idea that he is like that all the time.

I dont feel bad at all. Kramer and Michael Richards cant be dissected into 2 different entities. What Richards said was totally wrong... Now when I watch a re-run, what the event did in the end is make me laugh a little less at Kramer.
