Drink some relaxing tea ,also lay down on your back in your bed and take deep breath , breathing in and holding your breath, count from 1-10. for each breath you take, Continue doing this you will eventually fall asleep.

I can simpathize with you. I too have had alot of sleeping problems. I have found two solutions that have really helped. It will take some time for your body to get back to its normal sleeping pattern, but this will help you out. First of all no caffeine for one week. Secondly sleep in a completely dark room and force yourself to stay in bed at a descent hour at night. Thirdly invest in a sound machine they are about 20 dollars in the stores and play soothing sounds like crickets, rain, wind etc. Finally just relax and read up on self meditation techniques that are really simple to do. I wish you the best my friend and hope your problem is resolved soon. GOODNIGHT lol.

I would try to start exercising as much as you have time for during the day, not too close to bedtime so you are not wired. That will have to tire your body out some. Try not to drink anything with caffeine, like pepsi, coffee, tea, etc, but if you must, don't have any after 5pm. Go to bed at the same time for a week or to and then get up at the same time. This will put you into a shcedule. Also, don't sleep with the TV or radio on.

Hi there, I just posted the same question. I take lunesta. It works but leaves a nasty taste in your mouth.
