i was speechless.
i really don't know what to say to my friend who was really troubled when he found out that his baby son has Down Syndrome. It's not that he can't accept it. he has learned to face the situation, but, he is dead worried for his child's future.
he is also worried because his wife is blaming herself for their baby's situation.
if you're in my situation, what would you do or say?

I have a cousin who has downs, she is 40 yrs. old now. She is a part of the family, has always been and always will be. Its just a fact of life, its nobodies fault. It is sad to have a child with downs, its hard to have hopes and dreams, for the baby. The baby is still a person deserving of love and attention. I would be there for your friend, listen to them, pray for them. Treat the baby like you would any other baby. Offer to babysit sometime, new paents can always use a break away from kids. Good Luck to you friend.
