Yes, I kept several Gold fish as my pets. I have maintained aqarium for several years and durng that time I have had many of Gold fish in my fish tank. I had a gold fish which lived for more than two years and that was only the fish remained in my pot after all the remaining fish succumbed to an infection. The single and lonely fish could survive in a separate bottle with about 2 litres of water as its capacity for more than 2 to 3 months in it before I had to give away this fish to my friend so that he could add it to his collection and my Gold fish could get a company! Gold fish are very cutr and intelligent ones.You can train them, to accept the food from your fingers or pinch.I used to tap the tank with fingers bfore putting the food in the tank and within a short time he fish in the tan could correlate the tapping with the time for their meals! Gold fish are intelligent nd they don't make much fuss when caught with the smll net to transfer them to a temporary shelter when the pot was to be leaned. They knew that they ould be getting transferred to a new place and they perhaps knew that , the new place was a temperary one! My all fish were very close to me and Golf fish was no exception for that !
