Yes! I'll walk into the kitchen with a mug in my hand and end up standing there for about ten minutes in a daze and then try to think what I was doing. Then I'll do something daft like put the mug into the bathroom and go back into the kitchen and wonder where the mug went. lol

This has happened to me many times and you are right, it is annoying. It also happens more often the older I get.
