doing the whats right

why is that when you try to do whats right, life or the person your trying do right by, slap you the face and crap on you.

Maybe the person you are trying to do right by doesn't think that what's right for you is right for them. Maybe they don't mean for it to be a slap in the face to you. Besides, Life's a b****.
