Writing exercises?

Do you have any writing exercises, "games," or techniques that you use to get the juices flowing? Why not share them here so other writers can benefit from them too? I'd love to have a new set of games, exercises, and techniques to help improve my writing.

It sounds sad..but I just write. If I'm having writers block or problems working through something, I just write through it. I'll just type and type and continue to write whatever comes to mind until I can get through whatever it is I'm having problems with. I've found it really helps me with writers block and motivational problems.

That always helps. Sometimes I find it helps me to write about something other than what is bothering me. Putting down the troubling project is often the best way to make progress!
Writing through the trouble and not giving up on writing (or giving in to writer's block) is always wise!
