Why does rating decrease?

I have often observed that sometimes our rating decreases! like yesterday my rating was 402 and today its 400!!! is it because some people might rate our discussions negative? can it be that or some other reason? can our earnings that we have already earned decrease too??

i don't know as you can see my ratings very low, i just make my 100th post

The reason it happens is because MyLot is cleaning out posts that are against the rules. So if you posted something wrong, or answered someone elses, when it gets deleted, your number will go down. The earnings go down as well.

Mine was decreasing today but my earnings raise up. It maybe happen if someone give - rating to us or mylot deleted discussions and we have response on it. all earnings can decrease or increase before last payment made.
