Do you believe in life after death?

Some cultures and religions believes in life after death,even in India they think about death like a passage to other lives. I like to think that death people and even pets are around us,made up of a sublime matter,perhaps it´s a resource of the mind to calm the pain by the loss of those who we love,but sometimes is necessary to believe in it.
