many great novels have inspired their movie counterparts (sometimes more than one), like 'gone with the wind', 'dune', 'the bone collector', 'robinson crusoe', '2001 a space odyssey', 'the da vinci code', 'around the world in 80 days', 'dracula', 'a beautiful mind', 'black hawk down', 'road to perdition', 'blade runner', 'the blue lagoon', 'oliver twist' and many more.
it is very difficult to cover all the small details and complexities of a novel in a 2-3 hour movie. so novels always have a upperhand in this regard. still, have u ever come across a movie that is more satisfying than the original novel?
