Is love just attraction / myLot

I always had this confusion that whether love and attraction are the same thing. What distinguishes love from mere attraction? When i see a beautiful it obvious that i will be attracted to her but than what i love. People keep on sayin that love doesnt see looks but the first parameter that we use to select a partner is the outside apperance so is love just a next phase of attraction. Please share ur experiences.

No love is not just attraction.Its a divine thing if you love truly.Nowdays people thinking just the attraction between the boy and girl is love but it is not like that.Actually love is the one which does not comes by seing hre/his beauty.It should come from heart.

LOve and attraction is two different feeling. Attraction is superficial while love is of the deepest kind of feeling.

No love is not just attraction. In my own experience as I get older, I can differentiate things just like love and attraction. Love is something you do for someone even if means sacrificing your happiness. Attraction is based on the physical attributes. I can say that attraction plays an important role to loving somebody.

No this is absolutely rong..luv isnt juss attraction..Its gettin 2 knoe bout things 'n new feelings that inculcate within urself for that person,being passionate to then 'n havin a fatal attratction could be given another name commonly called "crush"

I know that just attraction is only crush. But i sometimes wonder that can a person fall in love in teenage, because for love a person should be mature enough. IS there any relation between age and love.

I disagree with u that love is just trash. It is a feeling that most of us have experience at some point of life. ITs just the people who use it for their selfish motives.

Hey dear, just relax , and don't take tension. This is the usual thing which happens in 90 % cases of college girls. I am a 23 years guy and i can understand the "feelings" of that guy who loves u. You are saying that "his love is not true love and only an attraction" ? how can u say this? His love may be true. And one thing, his age is 21 n urs (may be) less than 20, then, u are not enough mature of understanding the "real intenctity of true love". So dont try to "judge his love". ok. Now ur problem: U can get rid of him by following these steps: 1) Just do not give attention to him 2) ignore his activities. 3) do not create a big scene by giving him a slap in front of others (as one of previous answerer suggested u) 4) if u dont love him then just tell him right now, just go ahead. i greatly disagree that love is also attraction. attraction is a phase of love. when you love someone, you'll get attracted to him or her first then later comes the love. the best reason people get married is because of love. attraction is just the feeling of liking, love is much more different. so if you're attracted, you can never say you are in love.
