Why BSNL is costley ?

Why are BSNL internet service is poor and costley ? Why do they cheat people on uploading and downloading so heavily ?

I think you have a point. I have got this complaint from several others who are high end users. The catch with BSNL is you should now apply for unlimited usage. I think that is INR900 per month. They have increased the speed also. Now it is 2 MBPS. So if you feel that is good for you then only you can try BSNL. I feel the problem might be if one uses a limited package. There people do not understand that when you browse a page even that is downloading.

In thier 900 plan again they will put thier service charges for telephone also.Altogether they will swindle 1500/-from us.All because they have a lot of staff and they need to be paid heavy salaries.How will they do it if we are not penalised ? In Airtell 700.00 unlimited package is best.Telephone only if we make calls.No other hidden charges.Why cant bsnl do the same way ?

I think BSNL has a very good speed and performance. I hope they reduce the cost of the internet in the future.

Pankaj BSNL services and thier metering varies due to errors from place to place, may be I am in a place where we are getting faulty bills.

i think u must enquire abt other internet service providers and then decide what is best suitable for ur needs..... no point complaining abt these .......

The cost of the BSNL is getting lower now a days. I hope it comes more less so that everyone can afford it.

I also hope the cost of the BSNL internet comes down. I think if the cost of the internet comes down most people can use it. The good thing of the internet is that it gives earning opportunities to lots of people all over the world. I think they have set limit alert through sms and email recently in BSNL and this helps the users to know the details of the usage and helps to know if it crossed the limit.
