Why do people keep doing bad things eventhough they know its wrong?

People commit mortal sin against God by doing wrong things they know its wrong or forbidden. Why do people cant simply stop themselves from doing wrong things against humanity/nature or from doing things displeasing to their God? Please share your viewpoint!

Maybe it is a nature of a man to commit sins becasue if he does not then he is no longer a man but an angel or saints.
But being a man is not an excuse that it is okay for us to commit sins that is why we have laws and regulations to follow - Not to stop the sinners but to minimize the effect of the sins that is done.
