can we live single?

I live alone but only because everything else has failed upto now. I really tried my best, and yes, made mistakes too. The Internet has turned out to be my only friend. After so many experiences in life, and at my age now, worries of not being able to have children....plus...the unlikelihood of finding a man who wants to, makes my ambitions less active. Depressing really. So living alone is a way of life now. I don't have any money to go out anywhere, so I have to meet people on the Internet. I won't lower my standards of whom I would date now though. I was always a 'one on one' type of person, more than a group. I tried since childhood and it never worked out. I just don't have things in my life, like other people do, so I am not able to contribute to what they talk about. Some people really like living alone. I worry about something happening to me, and then nobody will be there to help me. I guess that type of worrying happens more as we get older.

frankly speaking i can live alone ,if and only if i get paid freely and get loads of money.Then only i can live alone.

yes we can live a single life. in fact when i live a single life i will be able to fully focus my love for humanity as my love do not become exclusive to anyone else. I have known a lot of people who are singles but very happy and a lot of people who are married/have a relationship with someone but are unhappy.

Yes one can live alone, but would you be happy? Its not for everyone, so think it through and perhaps even try it out for a while before you decide. Of course I do not think any one would like to live a solitary life, without human contact for any length of time!

Will power is all that v need for this..If u hate the world for what it has been to u,then u wud naturally prefer staying alone 'n leading a life whenin theres no place for neone else except for u..

Some people are introverts and some people are extroverts. If you are an introvert, maybe something in life has made you that way. People should do what is right for them.

It is very very difficult.If you are taking the spiritual path then it may be possible otherwise not

It is lovely havinf company through lifes journey if you meet the right person to do that, some people don't meet the right person ot maybe as in my case meet them too late, it is better to go through life as a single than to live with someone that does not let you be completely happy.

I don't think that i can live single for whole life, I need somebody to talk to whenever i am facing difficulties in life and whenever i am happy. I wanted someone in my life to witness me throughout my life. I need somebody who can pick out my negative points, I need somebody for whom I am earning. I can't live single and most of us can't live. We need somebody to share hapinees, sorrow, love, relationship and the things that happen in a life.

It depends on the situation... various factors influencing them... atmosphere around.... attitude.... and the relationship with people....... all these factors count... along with the occupation.....

Well certainly not... atleast not me.

humans are social animals and we cant live alone and all that crao is ok.but i would say that you can actually live alone and tere are people who actually do live alone cos they are very heartbroken.

I guess that is possible but it would be a far more lonelier as we go thru life.

i dont think i can stay for a long time bein single...a person will get bored if he is single for a longtime...i needs to get in to relationship to understand life better...

I am really want to know the secret of livig your life alone. How can I do it. I know someone who had prefer to be single in his lie. I think his the most remarkable man I've ever known.I want to be like him. I want to learn how to enjoy life without seeking for a partner..

i think that we cannot live alone but, yes, we can live without having a 'partner' in life...
