Which do you prefer a male friend or a female friend?

When you are defining a friend you dont consider the gender.A friend is a friend and gender has got nothing to do with it.But there are few things only male friends can solve for boys and female friends can solve for girls.So,as far as being a friend is considered i wouldnt mind if it is a girl or a boy.

It doesnt bother me as long as they are there for me and Vise Versa.. Im a pretty easy going chick so I can relate to both quite well..

i prefer both but really male friends are a little bit more objective and female friends are sort of judgemental and they easily jump into conslusions.

For me, being a guy... i prefer a male friends than a the girls.. Coz we all know every details in our mind... Like about sportsm, bars and other outdoor activities... Unlike with girls, though its really fun to have a girl friends also, its just like you're always having an argue even though u dont like to.. u know? They will start conversations that later on, they will get mad coz they cant accept what their hearing from boys.. somethingt like that. So I prefer my boy buddies.. As its easy for us to get bond with!

I find it easier to relate with male friends than with female friends. Female friends always compare you with themselves; it's either she worships you or she thinks she's better. Male friends will really stick with you through thick or thin, and they will love you just the way you are even you're not perfect. I met my female friends for a season or for a reason ; i met my male friends for a lifetime. :)

My closest friends are male, took hubby a while to be able to accept this fact. Easier now that most of my male friends are also married, and we have a friendship with both.

im a female so for me i prefer female more than male...what you mention is true. it is easy to get help or opinion between ourselves differ from them...

I like to have male friends also. They are more caring compared to females. An example is when we ride on a jeepney they offer seat for me. They made me comfortable anywhere because I am a girl. Male friends also mostly can keep secrets. So, I am more comfortable to tell them secrets than to my women friends. Most of my male friends don't backbite on people. We mostly talk of reality and issues. But I also have female friends. And they are good ones also.

I would say that, both gender has its advantages and disadvantages for having as a friend. But I would like both male and female be part of my friends. Especially in giving advice. My guy friends has a different way of giving their advice but it always works well. My gal friends is also always there to support.

to be honest, i usually get along better with my male friends, something about getting to many of us females together that doesn't always work lol most of the time though, we are with other couples

Yap, to some extent you are right... However there are also women to women talks that female needs, Friend either male of female are valuable, I like a good mix for my friends.

For me, when I am friends with a female, there is a jealousy level but when I am hanging out with guys, there's none of that. I only have three or four poeple that I consider real friends, the rest are people I associate with. I'd rather have a couple of true friends that I know I can count on no matter what the situation than to have tons of people that may or may not be there if I need them.
