What movies make you cry like a baby?

We all cry at movies, men and women alike, whether we admit it or not. Many of us probably like to do this in secret, sobbing in the dark at our favourite weepie. What movies cause floods of tears in you? Do you prefer real tragedies like "Romeo and Juliet", or feelgood romcoms like "Notting Hill". What movies really make you wail?

I always cry when i see a beautiful mind. Also in the Patriot and Powder. I love those movies.

Thanks for commenting. Crowe was excellent in "A Beautiful Mind"!

One movie that brings me to tears is "Somewhere in Time", starring Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour. Another is "Beaches". There is no watching these movies without a box of tissue planted firmly by your side.

I can imagine watching any movie with Christopher Reeve would make some folks cry. What a brave man; and what an underrated actor.

Really? There are those who'll cry at anything...movies, the news, wildlife documentaries. They may even tune into some terrible daytime flick and see some emotional reunion, and they are gone!

Simon Birch was the most recent that had me bawling, and my husband trying to hide his eyes. Others that I can think of offhand .... Wide Awake, The Notebook, A Walk To Remember, and Stepmom. No matter how many times I watch any of them, I cry just as hard the next time around, lol.

Life As A House starring Kevin Spacey. I do not think there was a dry eye in the theater as we all silently shuffled out amidst our thoughts. I went back a second time to make sure it wasnt my overactive imagination at work....Again the entire audience avoiding eye contact so as not to give away the red eyes and flowing tears. Wonderful, wonderful movie.
