Should Robin Uthapa open for India in ODI

Yes, He should open for India, he has shown great skills when he was last played as an opener, he was just short of his 100 in that game, I think with veeru we need a technically strong player, who can safe the wicket an one end.

I think everyone will agree that we have not seen much of him in the international arena. But with what little we have seen he is surely a player with very good technique and i feel he should be and will be given more opportunities to prove himself!

I dont think this is the right time to experiment.We have been experimenting too much and thats what i thing got india here.Its better we develop ouur present players.Yeah i do agree that robin is a gud player but international cricket is very different from domestic cricket.So,he should be given chance after the world cup.

Yes . I think he should be brought back in the ODI team . He is real prospect . He is naturally aggressive,talented and enthusiastic. He is still young and should be brought into the team in time, so that he could learn till the World Cup gets underway . He should be in the team at any costs, considering the current plight of batsmen in International matches !!

going by his recent form i think he should be given a chance before the world cup... if he plays well he could open during wc otherwise other options have to be seen... he does have some faults in his technique which international bowlers could use against him so he should work on them...

Going on form in domestic cricket, Robin Uthapa seems to be be on song and in great form and should surely be given chance in the coming one dayers against west indies. I feel he is bright prospect for india. I have seen him in under 19 world cup andf he is genuiely talented guy. But i feel he should have been given break earlier so that he could have cemented his spot for world cup. So i feel that he should be played in ODIs but for world cup i am not so sure unless he does soemthing amzingly well because the core of team might be changed so enar wolrd cup . and with sachin sourav to open in world cup. it might be choices of plenty for indian selectors.
