The Trojan War......The Troy

Hope many of them around here know about the Trojan War. It was a great war between The Trojan's and The Greek's(Sparta) with many great warriors ending their life's.
It's all about a girl,a women Helen who was held responsible for the war.
What say,Who won the war...?
Is it Greek's who lost all their great warriors or Trojan's with Helen and Harris escape from the city.
I love the character of Achilles.

hello. i love the story of the iliad by homer and of course this is all about the trojan war. anyway i think that helen is not really the root of the problem but a goddess named eris.
the people of troy were defeated first because achilles killed the hero of troy and the son of the king. without their hero the people were forced to stay inside their kingdom. they have a formidable fortress so the greeks conceived a plan. so the trojan horse was made and the great kingdom of troy was looted and destroyed.
and by the way its paris not harris. =)

Hey thanks for correcting me, I was doubting when i started this discussion whether it is harris or paris. I read the story a long back so could not remember, Once again thanks for correcting and also thank you for replying.

i read this story too.
But, if i not mistake, Helen and Paris were killed too after the "horse" come to city.
And, as i remember, after kill Hector, Achilles also killed by Paris, not so long.
i disagree with the movie "Troy" were the mighty Achilles go to the city of troy trough the horse. Imagine that, would Achilles do the coward like that..?
