hey its simple and very effective psychological treatment of obesity you must have been observed that singer,painter and creative people are raraely obese, the same funda is been used for this purpose just find out which hobby you like next after that of eating and try to concentrate on that you will miss some time your regular meal or you simply dont need that because you are more enjoying the other one...try this

One sure method of reducing weight is by practicising what is known as "Fletcherism".prescribed the rules for "Fletcherism" are as follows : 1. Chew your food to a pulp or milky liquid until it practically swallows itself. 2. Never eat until hungry. 3. Enjoy every bite or morsel, savouring the flavour until it is swallowed. 4.Do not eat when tired, angry, worried, and at meal-time refuse to think or talk about unpleasant subjects.

these are all very good suggestions! if you eat when you are not hungry, when you are tired, angry, worried or stressed out it will become a habit and it will have a very bad effect on your weight! and...talking about pleasant things at mealtime is a great way to associate eating with happy times instead of sadness.

Hmmmm interesting...what if a person concentrates on other hobbies so much that he leaves food totally & becomes skinny?...lol! I was just kidding. But if you think seriously this can also be truth. And yes, what you are saying is right, if an obese person who has the hobby of eating something whole day develops some other hobby & concentrates on it by giving more time to it, he can control his overeating habit & lose weight with time!

good idea. actually my mohter -is-law is very obese. i dont know how make her undersatnd the importance of dieting. well but i dont think she really likes to do anything othr than sitting and seing tv serials. iw onder what really will be interesting for a 50 yr old house wife. anyway that was a good message. but where did u get this info from ?? any net site??
