Any problem with Sliding Phones?

I am planning to change my Nokia 6600 to Nokia 5300. Some of my friends told me that I may face problems if I go for a sliding phone. I am not sure about this since this is going to be my first sliding phone. Do anyone got a sliding phone (especially Nokia 5200 or 5300). Is there any problem if I buy this phone?

He probably meen on problem with flat cable. I think that problem with flat cable new cell phone don't have ...

Nokia 6600 is the best.Sliding cell are tuff is you drive a vehical.

Nokia 6600 is good but it is too bulky and I think Nokia 5300 got more features than 6600 and that too for a reasonable price. Thanks for your response.
