Please take a look at http://www.skincareteacher.com and let me know if you think the font is too small. It's a size 10 and I think it may be too small. Also, are the pages too long and do they involve too much scrolling? I thought it was odd that the pages are so long, but that's the way the template was set up.

Arial font looks best at 12px size. Your pages would look better if you increase it to 11px too. Try increasing the titles size too, or the text and the titles may look mixed up. I think you have put a background image, which looks hanging on the inner pages, where the content flows over it. Try cutting the footer part of it and put it to the footer tables background. So that it will scroll down with the content.

It's a Yahoo! template so I'm not sure how much leeway I have as far as changing the formatting. I'll give it a try, though. Thanks for your suggestions.

ah yes... a little larger on the fontsize. also, maybe you could put up some higher quality pictures~ the audience would appreciate clear pictures more. :)

That's a great idea. I'll get some more glamour pictures on there and increase the font size. Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it.

I agree with some of the other comments you have received on your website. The design overall looks great, and it is easy to navigate, but I am nearsighted and did have some difficulties with the size of the font. Otherwise it really does look good, let me know if you'd like to swap links. Cheers!

Thanks! Sorry if it hurt your eyes to read it. I've got a link to your site on one of my blogs already. I came across it while surfing blogmad or blogsoldiers.

HI Katrina ...I would make your text size 12 as I think 10 is too hard to read for most people. The page lengh is fine. The site looks nice.

your font is legible, but you do have to consider your audience. i'm guessing that part of your target market is going to be over 35, so the nearsighted may wind up all squinty-eyed. the tips pages do scroll very long... perhaps if the subheaders at the top (acne, blush, etc) were jump links to the entries on the page?

Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it. I have tried putting the jump links in and it hasn't worked correctly. I think it's called anchor text in HTML. I'll work on that some more because like you said, it would be helpful just to jump to that topic and not have to scroll. I'll see about enlarging the font as well, and I think I'll give each article its own separate page rather than squashing them all on one page.

I can see it fine. It may need to be a little larger for others though. I think the site looks great.

I did increase the font to size 11, so hopefully that has been helpful. I also moved all the individual articles to their own pages, so they're not all crammed on one page.

I think you did a pretty good job. I only think the text could be larger only because you mentioned it. I'm also curious as to what product was used to clear up that childs acne. My daughter wants to buy that expensive stuff off the TV and I think I personally used it myself with 0 results. Great looking site, hows business? Good luck with it.

Katrina, You're website has some good content, but I think because you are dealing with a different market you need to be precise when it comes to design. Generally most people that are looking for skincare also fall into the same category as makeup, hair care, nails etc... I think if you invest in a good template or design that might resolve some of your issues. My other suggestion is to make it Search Engine Friendly. This is how you get people to your website. If you would like to learn more about Search Engine Friendlyness please message me, I would be delighted to help. Regards, Mike Porter www.onitweb.com - still under maintenance. I have many clients that are more important right now, lol.
