i know that often its hard to live in some countries as they are not 'well off' and things can be expensive or whatever but for others to visit those places have so much to offer. they often have so much history and interesting things to visit...
id not be able to live there because im hopeless at learning new languages...my friends have tried teaching me polish for years....and to read it...forget it! its sooo not easy hehe

Never been there but I would love to visit. My Great grandparents came over from Poland in the 1896.

I spent a month in Poland, Warsaw about 5 years ago & loved it. It was quite a culture shock for me. But I found it to be a really pleasant city. Very clean, lots of interesting places to see & visit.
I never really had any difficulty in communicating with people, as most people I met spoke English. I stayed at the Sheraton hotel, which is very posh & would love to go back some time
