paypal account does it require a credit card

does creating a paypal account require a credit card? i have created a paypal account but idonot have a credit card so will i be able to receive and make payments

If you are an US residence then you can add your debit card otherwise you have to add your credit card to get verified. The benifit of getting verified is that you can withdraw money when you reach $150 in your paypal and if you are not verified, you will have to wait till you have $500 to your paypal account.

When i started a paypal account i didnt' have to have a credit card. it said that if i wanted my funds transferred from my paypal to my bank account then i'd have to have a bank account.

Maybe you can use a prepaid credit card for the verifying purpose. You can still received payments in your paypal account if you haven't verify it but think you can't withdraw the money in your account.

Yes I also have the same problem and am unable to withdraw money as I am not having a credit card.
