Neo is undoubtedly the best character in the entire trilogy. the entire movie revolves around him. however, he's not a very interesting character as such.
other nice ones are Agent Smith - he has played an amazing role. i would love to play his role in the movie. the merovingian also is a cool fellow, i.e. the frenchman who has the keymaker in captivity.

All the movies totally revolved around Keeanu Reves who played the role of Neo 'The Choosen One'
The other caracters also were pretty cool in their own way like:

I always liked Trinity in the Matrix movie. I really liked the first one, but I didn't like the second or third that much. I don't know why, I just couldn't get into them like I did with the first one.

while movie ! the thing i rarely count. but the matrix is not the movie its the philosophy of plato. i have enjoyed this movie very much.
well where the characters are concerned it is really hard to choose that which character i like.
the characters trinity, neo, morpheus, smith. well i think all have performed very well but the charter of neo and the mr. smith i can't ignore. mr. smith's character is the best i think and the performance was just amazing.
to act like a machine i think he became the machine specially in the place where the smith attacks the neo

I like Neo the best. He's everything you'd want in a hero. He's well balanced and has a real heart. Not to mention he's very hummble. I guess my second favorite character would be Trinity. She's a kick butt babe!

Yeah I think neo is cool in the moive.
In fact, the first time I watched matrix, I have a feeling of dejavu.
When I was younger, I used to think that maybe I am living in some other part of the universe and was sleeping there, and I am actually part of a dream. When I wake up, I will not be here anymore. Watching matrix make me relised that there are people who actually thinks like me. Is there anyone here who have this kind of experience before?

My favourite character is Neo the next are Morpheus and Agent Smith.I liked that Neo is always breaking agent smith's glasses and he always has a spare pair.

its none other than the NEO himself.........
what i like about the movie is his dwindling of thoghts of being the ONE.
then the most impressive one is but obvious the MORPHIUS

I liked Trinity the best. I have NO idea why, but I just liked her more in all the movies than anyone else, but I didn't like the second and third movies all that much anyways.
