Can u please post tips and advice on how I get started.. I'm just new here at mylot and i'm very eager to start.. but i don't know how..:) hehe.. how do i get stars? hmm.. please post all ur tips for me.. thank you! :)

The star rating does not appear until you top 100 posts (that number next to your name). Posts are counted the first time you post in a thread or when a discussion you start receives its first response. If you post multiple times in a thread or get 100 responses you one you started, they are both still worth one. The star rating is based on your reputation on myLot and goes up or down based on whether or not any of your responses get reported and taken off, as well as if you receive a + or - on your post or receive a notation as having made the best response in a post as given by the person who started the forum. The only advice I can give is to make long responses with substance and not start meaningless posts that are just short one line answers.
