i think you earn more when you put great asnwers,but i'm not sure if they choose the best ones..

As I understand it from my earnings , I believe that Mylot pays for the best answers .

Yeah like the other poster, I noticed I got an extra point out of no where. Then when I checked, I had a new Best reply in my profile.

Yes. You get a point for best answers. I noticed it just last week when a point popped onto my rating out of nowhere. I don't post much so it was easy to track the new point down.
